General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr Francesca Vella is a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist registered with the GMC (7500708), working in independent practice with Harbor London and Orchestrate Health in Belgravia, and remotely with Psychiatry-UK.

Her clinical work focuses on Adult ADHD assessment and treatment, mood disorders, OCD, complex psychiatric presentations, neuropsychiatry and neurostimulation, including rTMS. She works within multidisciplinary teams and places emphasis on careful assessment, risk formulation, psychoeducation and individual treatment planning.

Before independent practice, Dr Vella worked as an NHS consultant psychiatrist in acute inpatient care with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust and held specialty doctor roles across acute inpatient, neuromodulation and community mental health services.

Her earlier training and consultant-level work in Malta included neuropsychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, ECT and TMS services. Her background also includes MRCPsych, CCT in Psychiatry, postgraduate training in psychotherapy and neuroscience, and an active academic and teaching portfolio.
